The Felted Wool Stain Stick was designed to clean hard-to-reach stains and as a natural spot remover. After quitting my job to travel, I found myself washing laundry by hand and created this when I got back. I love it for a few reasons:
–Unscented, nontoxic, and biodegradable
–Easy to hold: The felt makes the soap easy to grip, meaning no slips
Lighter stains come out if you rinse the garment and stain stick and scrub. Let sit for about 15 minutes and rinse. For tougher to remove stains, let the soap sit on the garment overnight.
The Bar: The laundry soap is made from coconut oil. The felted wool comes from our family's farm and other small New England farmers and shepherds. We source scrap wool, including year old wool and wool that did not make the cut for hand spinners, to process into a finished roving for our projects.
Please Note: this is a harsh laundry soap and not recommended for washing hands or for cleaning wool. This was tested on our clothes and friends' with and colored clothes with no color bleeding, but please test a small section of your garment before using.
